VH-278x359
Torsional Fatigue Testing Machine

The torsion tester can be used for experimental research or production line quality control. When full testing of components is required, DYNAMESS’s integrated testing systems enable automated sample loading and testing, along with pass/fail result management.

Torsion Testers Are Suitable For:

  • Elastic couplings

  • Flexible couplings

  • Couplers

  • Rubber/metal components

  • Conveyor belts

  • Synchronizer rings

  • Flywheels

  • Dual-mass flywheels (DMF)

  • Propeller test benches

Static and Dynamic Characteristics

Both static and dynamic loading modes can be applied to test specimens.

  • Static loading is typically used to evaluate specimens until fracture or component failure occurs.

  • Dynamic testing is commonly employed for fatigue life analysis and service life assessment of specimens.
When dynamic loading is applied, oscillatory operation is often incorporated to simulate real-world usage conditions of the specimen.

The testing equipment can also perform non-destructive tests to evaluate material characteristics.

  • Static Torsional Resistance Test
  • Hysteresis Test
  • Stiffness Test Under Different Loads
  • Loss Angle
  • Tensile Loss

Dedicated Test Rigs

Depending on testing requirements, the testers can be equipped with multiple actuators. For example, when adding a constant-speed drive, input and output slippage may occur at the loading points. Standard torsion testers are capable of meeting both uniaxial and multiaxial loading demands.
