mePRI Rapid Plastometer

mePRI Rapid Plastimeter measures the plasticity or viscosity of polymers and unvulcanized rubber. The testing process is simple, clean, and fast. It can be used in combination with the meOPRI Plasticity Aging Tester to determine the Plasticity Retention Index (PRI) of raw natural rubber.

PRI (Plasticity Retention Index) is a measure of the oxidation resistance of raw natural rubber.The oxidation effect is evaluated by measuring the plasticity before aging (P0) and the plasticity after aging at 140°C for 30 minutes in the plasticity aging test chamber (P30): PRI = (P30 / P0) × 100

meTEST® Dedicated Sample Cutter

The rapid plastimeter is equipped with a dedicated sample cutting machine and comes with an upper platen diameter of 10mm. Additionally, we provide replacement platens with diameters of 7.3mm and 14mm, allowing for quick and easy platen replacement.
