meH+D Automatic Hardness and Density Tester

meH+D is a fully automatic testing instrument for the hardness and density testing of vulcanized rubber samples, it provides simultaneous hardness and density testing operations, It is equipped with a rotary tray for continuous sample loading, with automatic identification via a computer system or barcode scanner. Hardness and density testing can be performed simultaneously, with each test cycle taking less than 35 seconds. During each test, ambient and liquid temperatures are automatically measured and recorded, and density test results are automatically compensated for.

All test results are automatically recorded online by the meTEST software system, which covers multiple testing standards. The system automatically records over 60 different data points and evaluates pass/fail status. It also prints and exports data via the host system and database.

Density is measured by a standard analytical balance, with two operating modes: continuous cycle or automatic tray loading. 20 samples on the specimen loading tray are automatically changed. The specimens are grabbed from the tray by a pneumatic gripper and placed them in the testing area automatically for continuous operation.

The system is equipped with two sets of grippers: one for clamping dry specimens and one for clamping wet specimens, thereby avoiding crosscontamination that affects test results. It can handle 20 samples at a time, with 1–5 measurable points per sample. It is rugged and durable and can work continuously for 24 hours.
